Rama Sethu (The Adam’s Bridge) was constructed by the Hindu God Shri Rama (incarnation of the supreme god, read more about Rama at http://www.indhistory.com/hindu-gods/hindu-gods-rama.html). This bridge is acknowledged by America’s premier space school, NASA (http://history.nasa.gov/SP-168/section3b.htm). Now some aethist political forces India is trying to destruct the bridge for constructing a new bridge in that location, which will provoke millions of religious people in India. This is really a critical issue here for us because, We indians believe strongly that the adam’s bridge was built by Shri Rama and his companions to reach lanka crossing the sea. Now some anti Hindus and aethist people are trying to disturb it in the shadow of contructing a new setu bridge in the same location. The current age old bridge is a religious symbol for hindus for millions of years . Now some aethists are trying to destroy it for their political mileage. Please raise your voice against their ploy.

for excavators there are so many proofs about the presence of rama in prehistoric period and for some it is not but the fact is that since we are not sure about the ramasetu whether this was constructed by the mythical character named rama or not, it is a must to preserve this oldest monument associated with the religious beliefs of the people.more over the utility of breaking it and constructing a new path for ships and having astronomical size of profit is also open to question as it is nothing but showing the wrong notion ,having illusions and exaggerating the profit of the project.

No way of even thinking of Destroying Ram sethu bridge. Since this bridge is there from thousand of years & was never thought of destroying earlier, why this issue has come up. Ramasethu should not be seen as a bridge of stone & mortar as it has strong roots to the Hindu Mythological scriptures of thousand years old.The points put forth against its mythological attachments may sound theoretically right today , but its very description in million years old Ramaayana should be given a proper thought before disapproving its VERY existence.The available gadgets are relevant to the present day context ,but tomorrow somebody may come out with a new gadget that may prove the carbon dating wrong.
The points raised against are only HYPOTHETICAL in nature and what is relevant today may become irrelevant tomorrow like gravity and anti-gravity theories.. There are so many mysteries in nature that are hitherto unknown to human mind and thought..Science is not the only scale to prove or disapprove, for science is only a part of observed,plotted, and documented part of NATURE over a period of time.
Politicians and the bureaucrats are requested to give a open ear to the experts opinion and to the millions of HINDU

As per Ramayana, Sethu was 100 Yojan long and 10 Yojan wide.
To assess the measurement Ten Square Blocks each of 10 Yojan, are placed side by side to form a curve. Map of Sethu super imposed by the 100 yojan blocks shows the original shape and size of Sethu when built (Pink Blocks).
The first 3 days work 55 Yojan, is marked on the map. It starts from the present Ramnadu or Ramananta Puram and ends at Danushkodi.
4th day work, 55 to 77, a distance of 22 yojan floating bridge. The present Adams Bridge, from Danushkodi to Talaimanar.
5th and final day work, 77 to 100, a distance of 23 yojan solid bridge, from present Talimanar to Manar in Sri Lanka.
